Huawei has developed smartphones capable of making calls using satellite or artificial satellite connections even when there is no mobile or internet network. The phone of the ‘Mate 60 Pro’ model opened in the Chinese market can also exchange messages through satellite.
Last year, Huawei added the facility of sending messages using satellite connection to its ‘Mate 50 Pro’ model phone. However, only messages can be sent to specific numbers through the phone. But users of the new model phones can send messages to each other using a satellite connection if they want. However, Huawei did not provide any detailed information about which company will use the satellite connection. The facility is expected to be operated using China’s Tiantong 1 satellite.
The Mate 60 Pro model has a 6.82-inch Full HD OLED screen. The phone’s screen refresh rate is 120 Hz. Second generation Kunlun glass for protection. Huawei has not given any information about when the phone will be released in other countries.
